Get to know Ty!

I brought Ty home on the 7th September 2020 and my goodness was he a cutie. I had one of the Kmart dog beds sitting in the back of the car that swallowed him (he was so tiny weighing 1 kg) he wore a blue cat collar which still even seemed to weigh down his little neck.

He soon became part of the family running around like a psycho for 1/2 hr to then crash on my lap for hours as I got some work done. We started puppy school where he was the smallest dog there, he would sit under my chair tail between his legs as he observed the other dog. He became a master at sit and jump and we even taught him to leap through a hoop to show our class after the 4 weeks.

Week 3 of puppy school I knew I was in trouble. Ty came out from under my chair and barked at a dog 3 x his size, oh no I thought and so it begins. From that point on he gained some confidence stealing socks, pegs and undies (why they love undies I don't know). He thought every square metre of the house was his personal wee spot. Puppy pads did not work in our favour! Chargers, pillows, hair straighteners you name it that dog would would lift his leg too.  After learning to lock off all carpet areas of the house and getting rid of any rug in sight I think we finally have it under control. How can you get angry with a face so cute!

Now he is 5 years old and he has become such a vital part of our family, we love our morning bush walks, going to the beach or getting a coffee. I'm sure most of you agree we all love spoiling our pup (often giving one too many treaties) so Ty and I was the perfect opportunity to give the dog essentials some fun and flare!

Licks and kisses,

Ty and I xoxo
